GH-6S Retarder for Oil Well Cementing
description1
Product Description
GH-6H can adsorb onto the surfaces of cement hydration products to inhibit contact with water. It also adsorbs onto the crystal nuclei of the hydration products, preventing further growth of the nuclei, thereby retarding the hydration of the cement slurry.
Characteristics
GH-6S is composed of various compounds, such as gluconates and hydroxycarboxylic acids.
Non-toxic, odorless, and non-corrosive.
The typical dosage is 0.06% to 1.5% (BWOC). The dosage should be increased appropriately with the rise in temperature.
Effectively extends the thickening time of the cement slurry.
Generally used in oil and gas wells with a circulating temperature between 50°C and 110°C.
GH-6S is sensitive; accurate measurement of the dosage is required during use.
