GH-III High Temperature Retarder for Oil Well Cementing
description1
Product Description
GH-III can adsorb onto the surfaces of cement hydrates to inhibit contact between cement and water, and chelate calcium ions to prevent premature crystal nucleation. In this way, it effectively retards the hydration of cement slurry.
Characteristics
Composed of lignosulfonates, organic salts, and other compounds.
Recommended dosage: 0.1%–3.0% (BWOC).
Effective at 110℃–200℃ (BHCT).
Significantly extends thickening time, increases pumpability, and enables formulation of right-angle thickening cement slurry systems in medium-deep and deep wells.
Reduces slurry consistency and improves rheological properties.
Preferred for dry mixing. For wet mixing, the mixing water should be heated with steam.
