    Product Description

MEG Lubricant and Inhibitor is a cyclic polysaccharide polymer derivative featuring both hydrophilic and lipophilic groups. Unlike conventional polysaccharides, it not only functions as a mud treatment agent but also provides excellent inhibition and lubrication properties. With high thermal stability and environmental compatibility, MEG forms a semi-permeable membrane on the wellbore surface, giving the MEG drilling fluid system oil-based mud–like characteristics. Laboratory studies and field applications have demonstrated that MEG offers outstanding advantages, including non-fluorescence, biodegradability, strong shale inhibition, excellent lubricity and thermal stability, superior reservoir protection, and environmental acceptability. The modified solid MEG replaces traditional liquid MEG, significantly reducing dosage requirements while maintaining equivalent performance. The product is non-toxic, odorless, and safer and more convenient to use.
