OCL-OSE OBM Secondary Emulsifier
description1
Product Description
OCL-OSE is a universal secondary emulsifier designed for use with primary emulsifiers in oil-based drilling fluids. It is suitable for diesel-, mineral-, and synthetic-based systems. The product enhances the strength of the emulsion film, significantly improving the stability, temperature resistance, and contamination tolerance of the drilling fluid over a wide oil-water ratio range (40/60–10/90). It also makes the drilling fluid system easier to maintain and shows excellent compatibility with primary emulsifiers and other treatment agents. The formulated oil-based drilling fluids can be weighted with barite, calcium carbonate, or hematite as needed.
Characteristics
Mainly used as a secondary emulsifier in oil-based drilling fluids.
Reduces oil-water interfacial tension and significantly improves system stability.
Recommended dosage: 1.0%–1.5% for low-temperature OBM systems; 1.5%–2.0% for high-temperature systems.
